OK folks, here's the deal. After a tight summer I finally have some discretionary money to spend on the Wagoneer. It's a 74 with 360/th400/Quadratrac, and runs well other then a little vapor locking.

Main uses are as a secondary vehicle up on the mountain for hauling, mountain driving down to the city on occasion, camping and road trips, and some mild off-road activity. Not so much rock crawling, but occasional rough stuff.

I was planning all along to do the 2" Kit for price and ease, and it was recommended several times here.

I am afraid though that I will regret that it's not quite enough clearance for the rocky desert roads in Borrego and elsewhere in California

For that reason I am thinking getting the 3 1/2" Kit.

Any issues other than extending the brakelines with this kit? Will it throw my steering geometry off? Are my drive shafts going to be too short? Will I kill U-joints with excessive wear?
