Is there any way you can check, if you have busted the front pump in the tranny after an engine swap?

What do you mean by busted? As in a crack in the pump housing? Or a malfunctioning pump?
If it's the latter, you can check for good pumping action (yeah, this'll start a bunch of funny posts) by using the cooling lines. You stick the intake line into a bucket filled with ATF, and thus watch the amount of fluid that comes through the out-flowing line. (Also an easy way to flush the system, just make sure you've got lots of ATF.)
As for the pump housing itself, I don't think you could inspect the pump without removing the transmission. To view the pump housing at the front, you would need to get the torque converter out of the way. To go in through the pan, remove the valve body and front band, you still have the front drum assembly in the way. I just had a TF727 apart last weekend, so it's still pretty fresh in my mind.
What symptoms are you having?

I just did an engine swap, and I can't get it to move. I have enough fluid, I think I had the TC engaged properly. At one time in drive and the tranny engaged but felt like it was low on fluid and then I put it into Reverse, I had no reverse, then went back to drive to check it and guess what no more drive. I checked the fluid (it was full but then it was low) I filled it up and havn't been able to move it since.
I do have 2 little small vac hoses that aren't hooked up and I can't tell were they go. The trannny worked fine before the swap...
