What the heck? Oil level is ok, not overfilled, (actually it's a ahir low due to oil coming out of the top of the dipsrick tube). Has anyone seen this one before?

Usually a clogged PCV valve or passages to and/or from the valve. Very common for the hard tube screwed into the back of the manifold to have oil coked-on to its walls, so that the passage is blocked, even if the PCV valve itself checks out OK. Also look for oil in your air-cleaner; another sign of a clogged PCV valve or passageway.

Took the hard tube off today. It wasn't blocked but I cleaned it real well sice I had it out anyway. PCV valve is new.checked hoses from intake to pcv valve to cab, not blocked. I do have oil in the air cleaner. Any suggestions on where else it could be blocked?

do a compression test sounds like a broken ring or dead cyl

Does it still do it if you run with out the oil filler cap on?

I ran some motor flush through the motor in hopes I just have a blocked passage somewhere. If it is istill coming out of the dipstick tube when I can check it again on Wednesday, I'll check it with the filler cap off. If I can't get it figured out by then, I guess I'll go to a shop for a compression/blowby test. :(

You can buy a good compression gauge for about $25. Around here, shops charge about $60-$80 for a compression test.

Sounds like blow-by to me. Pick up your own compression tester like said above, it'll tell you alot about your pistons. I found a hole in one of mine and it caused the same problem, only I had puffs of smoke coming out of my oil filler neck too.
