I recently replaced my plugs and wires. My Chiltons manual says to gap the spark plugs at .035. But the plugs I removed (installed by the previous owner) were gapped larger than .035. What is the proper spark plug gap for a 1984 360?

They are suppossed to be at 35. Unless you have a TFI upgrade then you can go up to 40-45.
