Half way there . Yesterday a member helped to identify the harmonic balancer , now for the flex plate .
Looks like a 360 but hoping it's the 401.
Curious weight after the 12 O'Clock position I have not seen on 360 plates .
Markings " ZHT " " ZH 358 "

401 plates for the TC-727 have a large counter weight, curved and about six inches long. Usually a Z indicates 401 application, the one I have for the T-400 401 app. is numbered ZH1379.

401 T400 flex will have a rectangle shape weight welded onto the flap in the un-open "window".

Additional clue is the three mounting holes for the torque converer indicate a T-400 trans therefore , an early flex plate .
If the " Z" designation applies to a 401 in this case , then the lack of a large counter weight becomes a question .
Does anyone else have a 401 plate with a Z followed by digits ?
