Scored a new Kenco brand bed mat for a full size Ford 8' bed off craigslist for $20. 3/16" thick rubber.
Ripped out the dry rotted ratty cargo area carpet and used it to make a template on the bed mat.
Re-used the stock cargo rub strips and the little end trim strip to hold it down and came up with this.
It covers everything that the original carpet did.
You can also see the kenco name near the seat belts, my bent drivers seat and the nutmeg stuff I'm swapping in from an 82 Brogham (sp) and an 83 Limited.
Sorry the pic blows, I didn't ralize my camera was set to panoramic. The weird bumps in the mat are in the mat, not the pic. It was folded into a square, and the paper work that the mat came with said it they would go away after a bit.
It still needs some trimming to fit right, as you can see on teh drivers wheel well. I cut it a hair big to be sure I didn't cut it small.
