Ok, I think I know whats going on, but want to run it by everyone first.

When the engine warms up, there is a fog that comes out of the defroster and heat vents, even if they are off.

It's the heater core, right?

I have replaced the intake recently and wanted to make sure it wasn't related, since it has started after the replacement.

Sounds like antifreeze vapor. Do you get that "sweet" smell from it?? It's probably a leak starting in the core as you suspect. Take the heater box off to inspect it before it gets worse and leaves you somewhere with a fogged winshield.

Thanks for the second opinion. Already has been fogging the glass. I think i am making some people a little nervous driving and cleaning off my windshield at the same time.

Been there. When it gets really bad, it gets all slimy and is really hard to remove. Hopefully you'll get to it before then.

I hope to tackle it after Christmas. Thanks for the heads up about the slime factor.

If you wipe the smearing fog off and at night the window gets all kinda cool and rainbowy...it's not a flashback like they warned us about in the 60's...it's the heater core. ;)
