After searching around the forums since I got my wagon in December, I finally settled upon getting a 3" Rough Country lift on 31" tires on some steel wheels. Although I wish I went higher ( I can see how people end up with huge lifts and tires, after driving this for a week I'm ready to go up a notch), this is a daily driver so it will probably stay at this height until I need new tires, then I will throw on a small body lift to fit some 32" offroad tires.

I can't believe that's the only picture I have of it from before. But it was on some OK road tires with the usually sag in the rear. (By the way I have the four original rims with 4 decently treaded tires, all center caps, and a spare if anybody is interested). As you could see...I did a little trail riding before the lift :drivin:.
After:
I got the rims and tires off Craigslist for a decent price, or I would have probably gone with some BFG A/t's. But I spraypainted the rims black (with proper prep work), and I am very happy with the result. Here is how it looks today:

Opinions / The Ride:
I measured body clearance before and after, and with both the lift and the tires, I got a total of just under 5" more body clearance (which could also be because it was sagging below stock before the lift). I am really happy with my decisions, and I think it gives the wagon a much more aggressive look, but is still very reasonable for a daily driver. The shocks are a little stiff, but I don't mind it too much...I'm young enough for it to not bother me.
I had the chance last weekend to "test drive" the lift down at the Midatlantic Full Size Jeep Club's summer campout, where we did some wheeling in the Pine Barrens. I was very happy with the results, especially with the tires I am using ( Goodyear Wranglers...just street tires basically). Struggled through one mud hole but just backed up and tried again and we made it through. Here are some pictures:
