Went shopping for two new rear drums. HUGE difference in prices, I notice BJ's Offroad lists them for 60.00 each. This was same quoted me by O'reilly's and Autozone, however, Crow Burlingame has em for 32.00 DUH!. Their pad set for both brakes was 24.00. I went that route.
Bottom line, pays to shop around.

Careful when you a find a deal that good. They may be selling the factory seconds. I've ran into that several times with brake drums. The discounted drums most often do not meet the factory tolerances on thickness and balancing. I don't even know how they get away with selling them, it won't be labeled as rejected on the box.
Not saying the seconds are for sure what you got, It's just something to keep in mind. There is so much competition for auto-parts chains, I can't see them getting away with a 300% profit...and I'm not much on the conspiracy theories.

These weren't listed as anything other than their regular parts, I'll have em checked at the shop (full machine shop services at the Crow Burlinggame shop so ...before I leave the store, i'll make sure they are to spec.
