Started cutting out the floors today. I can see why the pans are rusted. The carpet was nice and wet when I pulled it. Got lucky the cab supports and rockers are in great shape. Going to finishing cutting them out tomorrow and start welding in the new pans. After Im done, Im going to put a bed liner instead of carpet.

Finally got the pans welded in. Putting seats from a Suburban in it. Got the left side done, making brackets for the right side.

Nice job. I have the same thing in my J10...bed liner instead of carpet. It keep your floors from rusting but it makes the cab really noisy.

I am just getting ready to back to carpeting in an effort to quiet the cab noise. I finally got around to fixing all of the leaks....to hopefully keep the carpet dry. My fresh air vents were full of debris and leaking as usual....which is where most of the water was coming from. There were a couple of other little spots where water was leaking in to. The floors stay dry as a bone in a down pour now:thumbsup:
