Has anyone used these on their rigs? My waggie has real bad "chatter" on the blades when its only a light mist:mad:

My chrysler 300 got them on last oil change - did not notice a huge difference:rolleyes:

Since I am currently Wagoneerless, I cannot answer for a Wagoneer, but I am happy with them on my Honda Accord. I got mine at Costco for 7.95 each.

I'd save your money for a modification that would actually work. Like chrome valve covers. :D

The plain ol' regular ones seem to do fine. Although the ones you show "might" be better for shedding snow and ice... Buy a set and let us know!

What do you mean Ethan?

We are running a set on the Outback and the Eagle. One brand is RainX and is a bit better than the other brand (which I forget the name) at consistently removing moisture and snow. The nameless brand still chatters like the older style too. I am not be concerned with trying RainX brand on FSJs and expect positive results.

wipe some baby powder on your blades and they wont chatter and they last longer

my GW chattered with new regular blades. loose linkage due to age im sure. the frameless bosch blades do not. they are much more rigid laterally due to the new frame style. no rocking on the blade retaining clips, cause there aint' any.

I put a set on my F350 and don't care for them. Been on for a year now. I bought the frame less because a guy at work was raving about them on his GMC 2500.

I'm going back to Michelin Blades. They are still the best I've used. Been running them on the 2 Birds and J20 for years now. I rely on the wipers alot although most of it is due to heavy fog at night. Combine them with the rainX washer fluid and you are good to go. Most likely will have set of them on the F350 before this weekends trip. I've only been able to find them at Walmart.

when i went to AR for the van a few weeks back my driver had the scrubber style blades on the truck, and they were rather impressive. they wipe off bugs real quick.

If the frameless blade flex more, they might shed the snow and ice better. Like the expanding "boots" on airplane wings to keep ice from forming on the surface.

Plus, the ice often clings to the wiper frame since it moves the least amount. The blade is always turning back and forth so it usually stays clear. The frame usually gets iced up and prevents the blade from conforming to the windshield.

I've had the same set of those on my waggy for about 2 years now, and they still work great

Those are what most places sell as that new Rain-X wiper blade.. It supposedly works really well; haven't tried it myself though, I will probably try them eventually. lol

Also - the reason you might 'chatter' with a waggy, versus your 300, is, believe it or not, your Chrysler is more aerodynamic. lol; less wind interferance on the blades on the 300, versus our bricks on wheels, for aerodynamics.

We run them on our '04 Excursion (the Rain-X brand). They solved the chatter problem and seem to be lasting longer in our brutal sun than others we have used.
