J20 "Renegade"

So I want to do something different, and obviously the renegade package was never offered on a FSJ, although I want something no one else has.

Since I am painting the truck, I kind of want to ad decals to break it up.

I like the 83--84 wintage stripes, because the hood stripe looks like it would go along with the V body lines of the FSJ hood. The renegade decals would be on the end sides of the hood facing up toward the sky.

I think that would look pretty sweet. I like the first stripes pictured the best.

ether the top one or the bottom one would be my vote...accent stripes right on the hood lines always look good on our rigs IMHO...

Another place the RENEGADE could go would be the end of the bed on the top, or on the bottom of the doors where the HONCHO normally is.

i dont know, i was always partitial to the 72-73 renegade strpes..

Decided I am going to go with the date correct stripes. (last picture) Although I will go with gold instead of blue, the only other option, which is more universal with most colors. Still have not decided what color to paint it. Sigh, decisions.
