Can anyone out there tell me where I can score a headliner either OEM or aftermarket that fits an 87 Gwag. Broke down and called my local Jeep dealer today and they could only find the rear section in my color (honey) and it was like $108.00. Right now I have nothing...Although I can tell there is no rust on the roof which is a good thing, but would like my headliner. Please help!!! :( :D

Ya if someone can let me know if they have used this or not....know there are some people out there that have had saggy headliners. Main thing is I want it to look as oem as possible.
wlsheadliners.com or do a search for automobile headliners

Got my exact color and fabric match from www.atrim.com. (http://www.atrim.com.) Excellent site. Got 4 yards worth(too much, but I'd rather that than not enough)and some 3M Super 77 spray adhesive. The wife and I redid both headliner boards in one afternoon. Without killing each other or ending in divorce, I might add. About $40 bucks in materials.
It has stood up well in the 95% humidity and 100+ degree days.

Thanks!

You might find replacement fabric at a local fabric or upholstery shop...

Absolutely get a junk one and re-do it, quick and easy. Sand off the residual glue and spray 3m Super 99 adhesive, not 77, on both sides and and fold it out carefully. 77 sagged on me in 2 days, play it safe get the 99 they cost the same. Call FSJeeper, he probably has half a dozen you could have.
my board was warped so i got a sheet of 3/4" foam board insulation from the hardware store and used subfloor adhesive to glue it to the back. it was rigid enough to take the warpage out of it but I got to keep all of the stock curves. you do need to cut panels and measure them to fit between the ribs. a little r value never hurts either.

Check out you local fabric store. Alot of them carry headliners in various colors. It may not be an exact match, but if you do both the front and back headliners it will look pretty good... at least better than none at all. I know that here in NY, Joannes Fabric Shop (it's a chain store) carries headliner material, foam backing and everything. Then go to your local body shop supply store and get some 3M upholstry spray-on adhesive. Get the regular, not the heavy duty stuff, which tends to bleed thru the headliner material. Use a putty knife or scraper to clean off your cardboard as best as possible, then follow directions on can. For the GW, you will most likely need a coupla cans (3-4) to do both front and rear headliners. It's any easy job, just take your time.
Good luck.

Use lots of adhesive. I didn't use enough, only about 1 can, mine held up fine for a few months but now it is sagging.
