Ok, I thought i would just say hi, I joined here a little over a week ago when I bought my first FSJ. She's a 1975 Wagoneer with a 360, TH400 Quadra-trac with low range. She has a little over 98 thousand miles on her and runs and drives great. It has a little rust here and there but hey its a Jeep, what do you expect. I don't think it was too bad of a buy for $350. Oh and here are some pics, I hope they work.

I'm not really sure. I was thinking of just using it to haul my XJ but i'll probably get bit by the bug and go soa and move the rear springs under the frame and run the biggest tires i can fit.

Easy resto there. Don't get the bug and beat the Wag. That's what your XJ is for it's the Bic lighter of Jeeps. Use'm up throw'm away.

Congrats of the smokin' deal. Looks light on the rust. Appears to have blocks to lift the rear? I wonder if it has been repainted. The year and upper stainless trim indicate it could be a custom which was the first year Jeep put big wood grain on a Wagoneer.

Thanks for all the welcomes. Yeah it has blocks in the rear, they were just some I had laying around so I threw them under there, I also had some ford shackles that i trew on the front to try and level it out a bit. I'm postive it's been repainted, there are a few spots where it wasn't sanded good and the paint has started flaking off, but it was repainted pretty close to the original color. It is pretty light on the rust for the most part, I did pull the carpet back the other day and it's just starting to rust on the floorboards so I need to get that fixed. And that "Pony" is the reason i stay broke all the time.lol

Greetings from Central Alabama! Always nice to see another Alabamian climb aboard! That's a good score for the money and looks like she'd fix up really nice. I'm going to go with some of the above comments and say I'd like to see it back to its former glory but whatever you decide to do looks like a fine place to start. Stopping that rust in the floor boards will sure help.

Good luck with it!

Welcome! and great grab for 350! That's awesome that it runs great. Did it sit for a while before you bought it or did the PO keep up with it?

It ALWAYS starts with just one. Then they breed. Then you have a stable FULL of Jeeps!!! Thats how it works for me. I won't stop at just one!! :drivin: :fsj:

Welcome aboard.
I think the seventy's Jeeps are special somehow. I could be biased a bit. Looks like a good find. Nice boobies.

It actually sat for about a year an a half but just before the PO parked it he put new spark plugs and wires, a new distributor cap and rotor, new brakes, and a brand new alternator on it and then the power steering pump went out and he just said the hell with it. Which by the way has freed up and works just fine now. He did say that he went out and turned the engine over about once a month.

He actually had a brand new heater core in the back that went with it, I just haven't gotten around to putting it on yet. The AC pump however was long gone.
