Chevy Conversion questions?

I need some help. I am looking to convert my 1979 WT from the 360 over to a 1984 Chevy Fuel Injected 350 with a TH400. What exactly is needed to do the conversion? What about the control "Brain" for the fuel injection? I got the pickup for $400 and I figured I could get better gas mileage with the injection. I love the 360 but parts for the 350 are easier to find and are much cheaper.

I didn't even realize the 84 was injected. The conversion would not be to bad... First gen ECM's use the check engine light to display trouble codes so you will for sure need to get that wired up. Also make sure you retain the stock Chevy ALDL connector.

Also on the TH400 all you need to do is swap the output shaft from the old tranny to the new tranny and you can bolt up the QT-case.
