First off I had to fix the Muscle grill

and since I was on headlights I dug around in the shop

a must mod for any FSJ imo
While checking the lights out I noticed they were way dim, and sure enough my battery was about dead, starting checking and found the "I" terminal on the solenoid was hot all the time. Tap it and it went cold, bump the starter and it stuck again - oh well PO (or PPO maybe) left a brand new 1 in the back. Once the battery was charge no fire - figured juice to the coil fried the ignition module - so...

and while I was at it

and since it will be pulling duty for duck hunting

passenger seat shows a PVC cover from Cabela's great for wet/muddy dogs and wet/muddy/greasy people.
Driver seat is a seat towel I kept from my Scrambler, they are for when I jump in with good cloths on...kind of nice to have a truck that I worry about getting into when I am clean :D

I think you've got the only other Cherokee that is like mine; can I get a shot of your door panels, and rear side panels? Even though it looks like yours is all power; I still want to see what my door panels were supposed to look like before the P/O trashed em.
Otherwise; I like the flash-light holster and the dog-proof cover. lol
Also- would a Cheese-grater, razor or boobie grille headlight surround work for the purpose of doing what you did square-to-round conversion?

I'll shot some pics of the panels tonight.
You probably could talk me into selling you all my interior panels, not real sure on what I am going to do yet, but I will have very little carpet since I want to go with utility/function, and since plans are for a convertible odds are it will get rained in...
The surrounds won't fit the grill - you need the round buckets from 1 of the others, then change the tabs to the correct position - the square lights were set in deeper so the opened the sides of the cut outs in the radiator support.
When I did thummer I put CJ rings on the lights and just trimmed the top and bottom of the square surrounds for the round light. They were extra wide on the sides, for these I filled it all in with fiberglass, this set is pretty good, they were the practice pair, now I have a better idea on how to do it for thummer/thumper.
Poor Gonzo, he gets all the hand me down's and testing done.
I even used thummer's spark plugs in Gonzo since his were black as coal so I figured re-gap a decent set for the TIF, and I didn't feel like driving up town (1 hr + round trip).

I would definitely not mind buying the panels from you, should you decide to go that route with him; because from what I can see, they're in great condition. Let me know on that please. 92011 would be the zip for shipping.
I am just now beginning to take the carpet out of mine.. lol -- between work and other random stuff that happens at the house, I have almost no time for him, even now as he sits below me in the garage, I have to get ready for work. After work tonight or during the day tomorrow I hope to hose him out, and maybe sneak to a dumpster (mostly cause he's not street legal) and dump the now-trashed seats. Not even the brackets are good on those things.

Add the final mod (for now)

I was not planning on mounting the CB in the console until they both showed up and it just seemed like a good fit, the CB has a from speaker for dash mount. It does block the ac controls/vents but that is non operational right now anyway, and I can trim a good inch off the bottom of the console latter and not effect the rear storage compartment. Might also slide the arm rest back a smidge to help with reach the controls.

So tell me what's going on in this pic. What does this mod do?

how did you determine the size of the heat sink for your module? I would have gone bigger myself, but not for any other reason than TTWIR.

Head light Relays

It was the size of alum. I had lying in the shop. I put my hand on it after driving and it does not feel any different temp than the wheel well, just a 30-40 minute trip.

Notice much of a difference with the relays? Just curious...cause I have debated it many times. I just don't think my lights are that dim right now (nearly as bright as my wife's '04 Grand Cherokee).
I know it is supposed to be noticeable...just curious about real world...

I have not driven this truck at night yet, I know my J20 got a lot brighter, but I also replaced the lights with Sylvania Silverstars at the same time, so I can not say how much was what - also put in H4's latter and the H4's are not worth the cost, maybe a little better distribution of the light, but the 'stars are about $30 a set vs the $90 for the H4's...
But I digress, the biggest reason I always relay my lights on old rigs is to take the load off the switches (headlight & dimmer). It is a cheap upgrade, I had those relay's but I just found some on Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PHLQJW/ref=oss_product
these are SPDT to boot - also same store has
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002KR88A/ref=oss_product
connectors for the relay's too if you want them.

x2 on headlight relays. When I swapped in brighter lights my dimmer almost fried my carpet and the lights were dimmer than before. Dual relays, all-new wiring and heat-resistant sockets fixed that. Big improvement over halogens. There is a noticeable lag from the relays, but nothing I can't live with.

You actually see a delay? All I have ever noticed is a click if you turn the lights on with the engine off.
And when you relay BE SURE TO FUSE your supply power line - I like the holders in my above post, I crimp a ring terminal on 1 end put the on the solenoid post then splice the other to my primary wire, puts the fuse right by the battery
