I am going to be buying a rebuilt 360 long block and am down to two company's has anyone had any experiance with either of these two company's and how did their engines perform/last. http://www.rebuilt-jeep-engines.com/aboutus.html
or
ATK rebuilt engines(dont have the website address)

Also can anyone recomend a good cam--have heard the edelbrock performer cam is a little mild. I am looking for good low end grunt and off the line performance. I am running carter 9000 AFB 570CFM and the Holley Street dominator manifold(dual plane) tires are 32's with 3.54 gears and the stock 727 torque converter(stall speed of 1700-2000 according to the Jeep service manual and the stall speed testing procedure) Thanks, Kirk Hurst

I think this is the same place: Rebuilt Engines (http://www.rebuilt-auto-engines.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/home.html?sid=1AlF2z0VaErD8q--39102587887.da)

If it is I have heard good things about them, but no experience first hand. They look like they do a good job and stand behind their work....plus the price seems to be right. smile.gif

Summit has an AMC cam that several people here are running....supposed to be a little hotter than stock. I'm sure someone will pipe up with some specs.

I have about 1000 miles on an ATK engine. So far so good...... Drop off and pick up of the engines was as scheduled so that's something I guess.
