Ok.... tommorrow I am tearing into the tranny. After my fiasco at the river, I have been finding things to fix/re-enforce underneath. Porkchop helped me with the QT mount, I drove to sork the next day and found it slipping out of park into a "neutral zone". I thought it was the linkage, so I tried to adjust it..... no luck... it won't stay in park... does'nt even try to stay.... Can the clip be broke on the inside?

Thanks... any ides would give me more to think about than the retainer....

Inspect your parking paw and parking actuator assembly. Or maybe the 2 bolts that hold the parking paw bracket have loosened up. Shouldnt be too difficult too figure out once you pull the pan.
