View Full Version : A jeep called... MINE!!
..I'll come up with a better name- but that works for now :D
I've been poking around a few days, and thought I'd introduce myself. I am the "Nooj" (no relation to Ted, unfortunately) and I just took ownership of my first FSJ, which is my first 4x4 vehicle- Many of you already know the yellow beast as IFSJA member 'Dirtball's '79 Cherokee!
She did a heck of a job driving to her new home in GA, over 3 hours of backroads and I-20, without a hitch; despite a blown power valve or accelorator pump, and some slack in the QT chain.
I'd post some pics, but you've probably seen it already, lol! I did however get the driver's side rear window put in- Dirtball found me a great deal on some pop-out quarter windows right before I took ownership.
Thanks DIRTBALL! I'll take good care of her- might even name it after ya ;)

Hello in El Centro! Lovely place- Home of the Blue Angels (or it was when I was there, lol). I spent a week or two in it's sunniness.
I found it on craigslist. Not sure if he listed it on here... I was kinda iffy about the road-sign yellow, but it's kinda growing on me, lol! I'm proud to call it mine, no matter what color it is.

Yep, we support the Blues for 3 months here in the winter...not really lovely here in my opinion...kind of a scorching hell whole in the middle of nowhere lol
You still need to post recent pics! Its the rules

Hi Nooj. I'm new to FSJs and 4x4s, too. Just got my GW a couple of weeks ago. So far I love it and this site is great. I'd say welcome, but i would feel like an airline pilot welcoming passengers to a city they all just got to.

I used to live in Newnan before my FSJ days - lived near Thomas Crossroads for about 15 years.
Thanks for the welcoming! :) It's neat to know that other folks on here actually know that Newnan is on the map, lol.
Fulsizjeep- It looks strikingly similar to that rig! It's sporting the grill from the first pic- Except the round cover things next to the headlights are black now
Even though somebody already posted some pics for me, I'll work up some new ones of her at the new home, soon as I find the camera... the wife always hides it from me.
