OK, Ive got a 80 Wag, with Rustys 4" lift springs, and will be putting on revolvers up front shortly. If anyone has a similar setup, and is using the stock shock mounts, what shocks are you using? I am for sure going with Rancho 9000Xs and figured the 9012s would be good, but now that they are selling even longer models, I thought maybe them instead... Do the 9012s give enough up travel, and enough droop to take advantage of the revolvers.
If it matters, Ive got Rustys 4" springs and 2" blocks in back. Extended quick disconnect sway bar links. 32" tires, stock axles...
Thanks guys!

For those of you who dont know, the 9012 used to be the longest travel shock at 12.875" of travel. Recently Racho came out with the 9034 with 14" of travel, and the 9036 with 14.875" of travel.
Im thinking of buying the 9034, and just planning on extending my upper shock mounts. Seems to be the only way to get enough shock to take full advantage of the revolvers.
Oh forgot to mention, I already have extended SS braided brake lines front and rear. And will be able to drop the frame mounts if necessary to besure the lines are long enough.

Ben do you have the revolvers yet? I run the RS5012 with the stock shock mounting and have had no problems but I have 7 inches of lift. I would put the revolvers on and then flex the front to find the shock lengths for sure. This way you can run them and not worry about messing a shock up and also you can check for front driveline bind. I would rather have the shock stop droop than the driveline binding. Just some things to check.

I run 9012s but I too have around 8in of suspension lift.
