Well, after a few weeks of wrenching, cutting, welding etc. etc.. The Chevy 350 is finally operational. The big bastard is ready to haul the little Jeep (M38A1) around now. The driveline consists of a rebuilt '76 350 Chev/ Sm 465 from a 85 Blazer / AMC NP 208 with a GM NP 208 input hub and a bit of modifications. I used a rad from a V8 CJ7 to fit in my 6 cylinders rad cradle. It currently has single exhaust..but headers and duels are in the future. I switched the clutch system to hydraulics to save headaches down the road. I used an electric pusher fan with a thermostatic switch to keep her cool. Everything went fairly smoothly.....I can even lay rubber in the old girl now! Talk to ya guys later....I'm going for a drive!
