Why would the accessory power still be on after the key is off? ie: power windows, defrost fan, etc. A few things I can think of is that somewhere battery power is hooked somewhere to switched power -or- That some sort of solenoid or relay is stuck in the on position. Any help would be appreciated.

Either someone has done some creative wiring to your Jeep, or I'd say that the ignition switch (at the bottom of the steering column) has some issues.

You shouldn't even be able to use the lighter or honk the horn with the key off.

Oh yeah, what a mess. Creative wiring would be the answer. Pulled the steering column, and looked at the switch. Apparently some time ago, there was a short in the area, and some wires burnt up. I just got off the phone with the PO, and he said he didnt do it, so it must have been his PO. I hate it when people half-a** wire things. Looks like this particular problem is going to eat up some time. I dont reckon they sell complete harnesses anymore?
