Lifter not all getting oil?

Replaced my buick 350 with another buick 350 in my 68 gladiator. The replacement motor had been sitting awhile. I am having trouble with getting oil to all the lifters. I have good oil pressure, primed oil pump and I get oil to some of the lifters. Any ideas?

I would probally swap em out. However there is some luck with engine flush to help get them to free up. I have never used it, I believe in changeing out troublesome parts over looking for a repair in a can. I also have just run engines for a few days and they may free up if sticking from sitting. Change oil and try that. ;)

Try adding a qt of Marvel Mystery Oil. It's good stuff for freeing up sticky lifters. If you're young and never heard of it, it prolly sounds like some hokey new snake oil but the stuffs been around as long as God and it does work. ;)

you can also run a quart of auto trans fluid also
