I take it you are referring to spindle shims to correct steering or shims for carriers in the diffs... which is it?

I am talking about shims to go between axle spring perches and springs. Tell me about these spindle shims, though. How do they correct steering?

Any four wheel drive shop should have them. I get mine at Six States.

I would try your local alignment shop. They should have them at a reasonable price.

Spindle shims (Cosmo Shims)are used to correct steering problems of up to 1.5 degrees. The are placed between the knuckle and the spindle of the front axle and vary in thicknesses depending on the degree of correction needed. They are pie-shaped...thick on one side and tapered thin to the other...

Degreed Upper balljoint adjustment sleeves can be used to adjust camber on live axle vehicles like our FSJ's up to 1.5 degrees as well...FYI

A little off topic ....but you asked. The axle shims you want can be picked up at any 4x4 shop for under $20...DON'T GET ALUMINUM!!!! They will crack and fall out.... I KNOW...trust me!!!!
