I'm going to order some springs from Alcan (yay!), and need to know the hanger to hanger measurments for both front and rear. anybody know? I'm sure I could get off me lazy butt and measure it, but that would defeat the point of being a lazy Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley.

Not so sure that will work, since old flat springs are longer than what new ones should be. The measurment you need is Eye to Eye on the spring itself, not the hanger, and then the location of the centerpin. Seems to me a spring supplier should know this.

Well, now that just changes everything don't it smile.gif
Seiously, I did this for someone awhile back and think I might have kept the #'s on my computer at home. I'll check in the morning. Now, only my front numbers are going to do you any good as I have the post mount rear, our fronts are the same.
So what are you looking for?
Eye to Eye?
Pin placement?
Arch? (mine are about 4" lift)
Seems like there were other numbers I wrote down too that the other member needed?

Now mind you, I loose a lot of stuff on the computer too, so you might want to start working your way towards the door :D

lol. thanks tadsal. the guys at Alcan are asking for the center of hanger to center of hanger measurement. Like I said, I'd do it myself, but i've got a cast halfway up my leg! I was just looking for a quick answer,I didn't mean to start any trouble! smile.gif

Matty, sorry bud, I can't find any thing on the computer. I'll search thru some old email to see if it's there but it's not looking good.

don't worry 'bout it Tadsal, I'm gonna use my gimpy-ness to my advantage and see if I can get my girlfriend to crawl under there for me. ;)
