I am beginning to think that the PO switched out my dip stick on the tranny. I took it to the tranny shop last week and they top every thing off. It leaked a little, I figured it was just the gasket swelling up. The leaked stop the other day and it has been shifting great. Shifted great in 4 hi and 4 low yesterday. I go to check it this afternoon and the stick reads 1.5 quarts low. I have not left any puddles and I have not driven it far enough to lose that much.
Could it have gone some where when I shifted into 4 low?
Anyway, it was shifting fine and I check it and it is low, so I add 1 quart. Now it shifts a little sluggish. Made me wonder if the shop was off and it just shifted that great with that much missing, or my stick is the wrong lenght. I know the difference of 2 cm would make a hugh difference. Can some one give me the lenght of a proper stick. One for an 85 wag 360.
Thanks again.
