Ok, we have the front door panels ready to go. these have the punched holes for the window crank and door handle. These will fit any J Truck door, wag or full size Cherokee. I suggest using self tapping pan head sheet metal screws to mount.

Also these are easier to mount if you have the Stainless strip across the top of your door as in the later models that trap the top, if you do not have these, let me know as I have found a few pairs, they are easy to mount with sheet metal screws.

There are two different mounting patterns for arm rests, early and late, so we wanted to make a panel anyone could use for a first cut. We can make the holes now without a problem. The other alternative is to get a set of the Stainless handles Im offering or use your own. These can be mounted after the panels are in place.

These panels are of 20 guage Aluminized Steel on both sides. They have a few light manufacturing scratches on both sides. These can be buffed off if they bother you, or if you cover them it will not be a problem. Im pretty picky and they dont bother me like they are, but to each their own. I mounted mine with 8x3/4 self tapping pan head screws. Ill probably replace them with stainless at some point, but now zinc plated will have to do. I used the smaller ones first, as when or if the holes get stripped I can just move up a size. Make sure you use the screw holders for the self tappers, much easier and prevents marring of the panel.

I mounted a set on the J10 in the photo, along with a set of the Stainless handles. These Handles are heavy duty cast Stainless steel, used so they have scratches and a nick here or there, but you dont want to pay the price for new ones, or maybe you do. A new set runs close to 125 dollars from my research of the same quality. If you find them cheaper good deal. I mounted mine with 12x3/4 inch oval head stainless sheet metal screws. They are solid and the screws are in both pieces of sheet metal.

Two 3/4 inch holes cut out to access the mounting for whatever arm rests you have, early or late will be 5 dollars per panel. Make sure you arm rests will cover this before ordering.

Stainless handles pair $55 plus shipping, but my supply is drying up. Handles have to be shipped separately from the panels. Ive had several orders for the handles by them selves, but from now on I will only sell them with the panels. Ill keep you posted, or maybe you can find some you like. Finding the large size was the hard part with the 4 mounting holes. Handles are sold out until further notice. If you have to have a set ($100 plus), I can send you to the supplier if you buy a set of panels, just let me know.

Paymet methods are check (personal ok, but will keep it till it clears), Money Order or Paypal.

Two Front panels for FSJs $75 (only a few left)

Holes cut for early or late arm rests is $5 per panel

Two Stainless strips for the top of the door, only sold with panels $15 have 1 set available

Shipping is usually best with FedEx ground, its less than you think, I was surprised runs 25 to 30 dollars depending on what part of the country you live in. The hard part is packing them up to survive the trip.

For local club members I can give you a discount for pickup and I can mount the panels and or handles if you desire for an extra 20 dollars per panel. I clean out the door on the inside, open up the vents and lube all the moving parts in the door while the panel is off.

Please Email me through the site for orders. Thanks for your patience.

Is there any chance you could punch a hole in the panels for the stereo speaker? Thats my only reservation on picking up a set. I think they look great; Simple and functional.

Yeah, theyre 5.25" round ones. I dont know if different years had different locations; I didnt think they changed, but right now mine has some wood panels and the location of the hole is way off.

Stock location would be fine.

I just reread your response; Ill take a picture of the door without the panel on it so you can see exactly what Ive got and Ill make a few measurements too. I suspect the holes in the wood panels Ive got were erroneously cut.

These are exactly what I've been looking for. Is it possible to have them cut for the electric window switches and sideview mirror controls in an '88 GW?

Just got around to installing these today. I sunk a bunch of self-tapping hex head screws into them, and they look and work great.

I also got a kick out of finding out theyre magnetic :o)

Nice job!

I would like 2 front panels with holes cut for a 77 Wagoneer if possible? I also need speaker holes, but will have to have that done here. My speakers are not stock, and I can not get pictures right now, Beale.

Have you considered making them out of diamond plate instead of sheet? I have some diamond plate ones already installed in my J10 and they look fantastic!

I have decided to go another route. I am no longer interested, Beale.

good idea, and I like the look as well, and we have, and for several reasons have not pursued it.

Increased material cost would substaintially increase price, and in this economy, would not be cost effective

also you would loose the versitility of the current panel for covering, etc. Now its extremely easy to glue on some camo material, or whatever, to match your headliner, or interior.

I assume you are talking about Aluminum plate, its durability is significantly less than the aluminized steel in a thickness that is compatible for placing on the door.

and another point, for me, I had Alum diamond plate on a truck that I drove often and didnt like the way it snagged and was rough on things that touched it, maybe not a problem for some that are more coordinated.

These panels are close, but thicker than the panels on the M715. Being a fan of Military utility, durability, etc, we went for strength, corrosion resistance, durability, simplicity, and versitility while holding down the cost. also properly attached, adds considerable strength to the door.

All very valid points, I do also like the current flat sheet and agree it is far more versatile then diamond plate. I was merely suggesting you could offer that as an option, kind of like the door speaker option.

understand, what I should of mentioned is I have to order a minimum of 50 to get the tooling and set up at a reasonable level, these are cut on computer controlled mill to make sure they are professional looking. the material cost is approx twice as much, thus having to make a significant outlay for a run of 50, if you see my point.

thanks for the interest Gentlemen. I do have a few sets left and will be posting those available soon. I would still like to do the rear doors, but material prices have gone up and will have to do some checking to see what I can offer them for. I will post to this thread shortly with the number of fronts available. thanks

I am still looking into Material prices for the rear panels. I have 5 sets I can sell at the moment. These are from the earlier run and are the same price as listed at the beginning of the thread.

I have one set of the stainless handles at the moment available as well
