Are there any FSJ owners in the Cedar Rapids area? I'm curious to see other rigs and talk about where yall find your parts up here in the (deleted) of the midwest ;)

No profanity. This is your only warning.

Iowa FSJ'rs....few and far between. Better chance of finding them in your neck of the woods than mine. :(

I grew up in the QC - does that count?

Warmachine I have a cousin in LeMars but he's not into FSJ's unfortunately.

Bigblack74 should chime in. I think he's in the Des Moines area also.

Funny you should mention that, I have quite a few relatives in (and around) the Denver area....also not FSJ oriented. Thought that was a prerequisite for living in CO. :D

I was born in Clinton and grew up in the QC's. I'm afraid I got all of the good parts that were left in Iowa and used them up already.:D:p

Im in Dubuque just a little over an hour away, was living in Cedar Rapids til just a couple years ago. I get back there all the time though to visit friends.

There is a great salvage yard outside Iowa city, I think its called something like a-1 imports. Weird name for the yard. It is the most stereotypical junkyard you will ever see. Big guy behind the plywood counter wearing a wife beater, one employee who is a younger guy, early 20s missing most of his teeth, also wears a wife beater, Maybe its their uniform? Tell him what your looking for and he will point, and you go find it and pull it yourself. Come back and pay. Last time I was there he had a couple wagoneers and a comanche or 2.

Bringing an old thread up from the archives here.

I'll be moving back to Cedar Rapids by the end of the month. If y'all see me tooling around in my J-10 throw me a wave. :D
