What tranny?

Okay I tried to search but I didn't find what I needed to know.

What tranny is in my waggy? Its and 83 with a 360, and a NP229 t-case. Is the tranny a 727?

What other t-cases will bolt up without any adapters or new driveshafts?

yes it is a 727. I think any of the NP case will swap out from Jeep. same drop and spline count. except the 80'2 J20 with the T-18 it has 31 spline count. all the auto's should swap out.
