What are all the J-Truck Models? Is there a definitive website with this all this info? I want to be sure I use all the correct search terms while looking at craigslist for my next yard ornament.
I know of these:
J10
J20
J4000 (Camper)
J4800 (Camper)
Gladiator
I know there are more, but cannot remember what.

Briefly, there is a "0" series, a "00" series and a "000" series.
First came the "00" with J-100 (wagons), J-200 and J-300 (trucks). I would guess these numbers were used for the earliest ('62-'65) vehicles.
Next came the "000" with J2000, J3000 and J4000. The J3000 designation ended by 1970, leaving J2000 and J4000. These numbers don't tell you anything about the GVWR; instead they designate the wheelbase (short v. long).
So, the J4800 (by the book) is also a J4000 (by the badge), but the J4800 tells you the GVWR of the truck.
The "0" series is the J10 and J20, starting in 1974. The J10 has a short or long wheelbase, with a 5600 GVWR, and a J20 is always long wheelbase (except for export vehicles) with a 6500 or higher GVWR.
Most of this information can be gleaned from the VIN pages here in the tech library. It's just a matter of looking at all the pages and compiling it. The '72 manual at www.trailforge.com (http://www.trailforge.com) is also a good source; it tells you (for example) that the '72 J4800 has a 8000 GVWR.

Also "Gladiator" is just a name for the earlier trucks, like "Wrangler" is a YJ, TJ or JK.
