arb's vs. detroit's?

are they worth it?performance diff. between detroit's? can you use detroit's f&r with QT?do detroit's "really" lock?

not F&R , rear only apparently is the opinion for the QT. Ive got a detroit in the rear of my 74 chero and its awesome off road. But then any locker/traction device versus open diffs will make a world of difference off road. Other than the chirping of tires on a tight turn I don't really notice it that much.

trickc,hey,i'm wanting to make this thing drive home on the left front wheel alone[just kidding,but i do want to be able to lock everything up.]want two arb's,but thats a big bite in the wallet.if the detroit works as well as you say,then i might go that route,[still crunching #'s]BTW i'm in cumming.[hardly any good wheelin spots left here anymore]let me get this project rockin,and i'll get with you and maybe hit some spots you know of.Marc
