So, deal is, I can get a this J200 I've been scoping on craigslist IF I can sell the Mercedes. Model is a '66 190Dc. It is a NA 4 cyl diesel with a manual 4 on the tree, manual steering, no A/C, and power brakes. Warning, the booster leaks, so it won't feel like power brakes. Car is driveable and I usually take it for a spin 2-3 times a month. I can describe it as "looks like a car, sounds like a bi-plane, drives like a boat and is built like a tank".
Most of the work that needs to be done is body and interior.
A friend has a newer model he runs on waste vegetable oil during the summer and still gets good fuel economy.
