The motor in my rear window is shot. I cannot roll it down at all.
So, how do I get the window down?

Open the access panel, undo the bolts to the motor, (one of them is behind the window arms if I remember right, PITA), disengage the motor from the teeth and pull the window down by hand.

there are clips on the end of each arm on the regulator pop them off and and guide the window down carefully

A hammer works very nice to lower the rear window.

I Wanted to say that!!! :D :D Actually not often does the motor go, Usually I unplug motor at the motor and then put 12 volt power direct to it, if it tries to go up reverse the polarity and it will come down. Could be bad switches or wiring to the motor itself.

Automatic center punch works nicely :D otherwise check it out like Carzy_Jeepman advised.

Just be careful if you decide to try to pull the motor. The regulator arms are under (a lot of) spring tension and the gear teeth are well-designed for cutting fingers off.
Both TSM and Chilton's recommend running a nut/bolt/washer combination through the holes in the regulator to hold them in place when removing the motor. Work safe.
