Hey all, got an opportunity to go to a friend of a friends shop, unfortunately its a bit of a drive away. I was working on my rig at home so both bumpers were off. I'm in CA so they are pretty strict here but I was wondering if both bumpers are required to be legal?
got mixed reviews from google search

I can not help with the no bumpers being legal or not. But I hope that the friend of a friend is going to be helping with your light:rolleyes: .

I think all you have to have is the front bumper.
I say that because i know in you used to be able to purchase stripped down trucks with out the rear bumper on there.

But who knows California changes everyday.

If the cop pull over you, say that the bumper was on it when you left the house! :)

its only 6 bolts for the front, if nothing else do 4 bolts on each end....

the cross members on our jeeps are basically the impact points though, most i can see is a fix it ticket where you would just have to prove you put them back on
