ENGINE SHUTS OFF

MY 79 JEEP CHEROKEE WITH 360 WILL JUST SHUT OFF WHEN EVER IT LIKES. IT STARTS RIGHT UP AGAIN. HAS NEW COIL,ING. BOX, DISTRIB. ANY SUGGESTIONS, THANKS, RON

First off Welcome to a fellow Pa'er.
Need to narrow down if it is electrical or fuel related. I had a problem like that and it ended up being bad connections on the coil. Did you double check and change any suspect connections ?
