View Full Version : Well We Drug Another One Home This Weekend

My son bought a 78 Cherokee S wide trac, 360 with factory 4bbl. T400/QT with 3:54 gears. The Jeep did not run because of electrical issues. After some searching we found that the amp gage was burn up and by passed it. We drainned the old gas and put in some new and the Jeep started right up. There are still some issues but my son is making progress. We have named it "The War Chief"

Nice! That's the color my Chief was before it got repainted (and lost it's chiefiness..though I saw pics to prove it to myself).

You gotta love seafoam. I was surprised they actually sold it in california, with all the other restrictions there are. Nice cherk it should be a fun project.

You're doing it wrong. You have the back rest and bottom cushion of the seat confused! The pedals are for your feet, not your hands silly!! And the holes in the floorboard is rust through, not for watching where you're driving!

Great pic's and congrat's on the newest ride. Tell your son there is nothing wrong with one's head wedged underneath the dash. Been there myself.

If I got in that position under a dash it would take the jaws of life, 3 rescue units, 2 chiroprators, and a team of Asian women with little bitty feet to get me back to normal.
