Not sure if this exists but are there any DIY weld-it-yerself bumper kits out there? I don't have the capability to cut thick metal here at my shop but I can weld anything. Plus, I'm cheap. :p

Anyway, thanks for your input.

I have never heard of any build your own bumper kits before. You might have to buy one already made.

My co-worker just volunteered to do some torch work, so I guess that's the route we're going to take. Hope he likes 3/16" plate.

So this isn't a total waste of a thread, what do you think about incorporating a skid plate onto the front bumper? I'd probably make it removable as I have no idea how it would react in the snow.

just go to the metal store, they will cut metal to size. Just layout what you need.

I actually found an aftermarket bumper from a Chevy truck we're going to hack up.
