Does anyone know if emergency drive is any good for offroading, constantly having it on in the mud. Is using it all the time in the any good for the trasnfer case?

It's the only way to offroad. E-drive locks out the clutch cones so it's direct-drive to both axles. Not locking the E-drive in puts unecessary wear on the clutch cones. Ya gotta stay on loose traction surfaces though, otherwise unlock the E-drive.
