First let me start off by saying I do know nothing about FSJ's. I did look through the archives for somthing related to my problem but found nothing. And my manual does not help much either. Both of my power seats quit working at the exact same time. I was moving the drivers side and it just stopped :( . And I tried the passengers side, and it had stopped working as well. I do not see a fuse for power seats in my fuse box or listed in my book. I would think there would be. Or a relay or somthing. I wouldn't think it would be the motors going out within seconds of each other  . I thank you for any help you have to give. . . . Tim

Electrical Problem Solved!!! (http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=009286)
Both of my seats quit and the same tiem along other things. Maybe one of the wires chaffed instead of the LIVE wire on mine. IT is located on the driveside powerseat switch wiring harness. Good luck ;)

This thread (http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=014460;p=1) should help you figure out which breaker on the fuse panel controls the power seats, and the other items controlled by the same breaker, depending upon your model/year.

DjD, That is a great thread. I did not see that one. Mine is a 87 GW and my locks don't work either. Thank you. . . . . . . . Tim

I found on my seats i had a corroded connector under the driver seat which also feeds the passenger seat.Do your pwr locks work at all?make just be a simple as pulling the door panels the cleaning and adjusting the lock motors/linkage.Also good time to lube your pwr window flex track.I use a white lithium spray on both.

No, the locks don't work at all. I have checked all the wires under the seat and they look like new. All the way up under the dash they look like new. My 87 GW has only 20,000 miles on it, and looks almost like new. Thanks coolram, I will check my lock motor/linkage. I just replaced the flextrack on the windows. Thank you. . . Tim

Coolram, found out the seat connector on my '84 was shot too. Fixed it before coming overseas. Lot's of good it does me now with the GW back in TX.........sigh.

These rigs are a great though frustrating way to learn electrics.....

My GW was altered by the PO's son so that the elderly gent could start the beast with a push button and not have to turn the ignition switch.
