I would go with Yellow with either a traditional two tone (e.g., black around the window surrounds) or go non-traditional two tone and paint it like a two tone Jtruck --

Think white hood and then white surround around the windows and roof white with the body being a yellow and some nice CHEROKEE CHIEF graphics.

Bear in mind, the paint is oxidized in that pic, but it buffed out beautifully.

A nice glossy red. Like Guards red, Porsche style. Cheros are sporty, they beg for flashy color.

x2 on not using red and yellow together. Mustard and Ketchup, anyone? Or just go ahead and paint the golden arches on the hood.... (Sadly, I have actually seen that on a car before. :eek:)

Silver with most of the chrome/trim painted black. Would look very clean and stylish.

Yellow is a good neutral color, and gits attn without bein too showy.. :D

Yellow. I'm not a big fan of red, which people seem to think is a requirement to live in this particular college town. Mostly people from outside of town. I find silver to be a bit bland for my taste.
