Smokin battery?

[2nd Day]

Ok so I tok the battery out of the Jeep and put in the Nissan Sentra for a week. Worked great till I could get a new one for the Nissan then tried to crank the Jeep with the same batery.

Nothin. No lights, just a lil very short grind noise and nada. So tried to switch it with the new battery out of the Nissan, lil smaler size in the way of cold cranking amps. Got lights with this one. Tried to crank it and a small puff of smoke from the battery. Put it back in the Nissan to make sure it wasnt fried and it does fine.

Why is it smokin in the Jeep and fine in the Nissan? Why wont my Jeep run? :(

Smoke = poor conection on the cables :(
