91 Grand Wagoneer.....84,000 miles....it had been running great up until a few few weeks ago. Then, I would hear a ticking that would speed up and slow down as I did. When I make a turn and accelerate, it is sluggish and labor knocks. Last week, at stop idle, it would not level out right, and be very "jerky". When I sped up to about 50-65 though, it leveled off and ran like normal. I am no car whiz, but I am learning more and more each month with each new problem. Do I need to replace plugs and wires, put in a thicker oil when I change it next, put on a new fuel filter, run a higher grade gas? What? A combination. I am not sure the last time it had a tune up. Is that more involved than changing plugs and wires? There aren't points on it are there? Also, yesterday, I got out, heard a his...and suddenly, anti-freeze came spewing out from under the bottom. It hadn't been running hot at all. I will check it today, but you think it is the hose or radiator? Is a radiator tough and expensive on this thing? Any help will be appreciated. I was told when i got it seven eight months ago that something would be wrong all the time. That is true, but I really like driving it. (New headliner, Rebuilt Trans, brake lines, Tires, Sending Unit...on, and on, and on)

App. St. Grad, but pulled for the Heels forever. I live down east near Whiteville and Elizabethtown in the small town of Clarkton. I have been to many ECU games.....their football fans are the best, and why the didn't keep running Leonard Henry against UNC is beyond me.

Thanks for the help.
