Tranny problems

I have a 81 j10 with a 360 and a 727 tranny
torq converter has welded it self to the front shaft so Iam lookinf for a new tranny, have got a line on a 727 but it has no transfercase iis it possible to use my transfer case on this other tranny? Is there any way to ue a th400 tranny that has a pass side drop mine has a driverside drop, is there some kind of kit or someway to make it work on a driverside drop(this is prob a stupid question)? If anyone has a tranny or can hep thanks in advance

As long as its a Jeep 727 your t-case will bolt right up to it with no probs at all. If its a Chryco 727...then I am not 100% sure if it had the same output shaft or not.
