I am considering a lift and larger tires...just need some pictures of anyone who has done this...to help me make up my mind.

What kind of rig are you doing this to? Waggy?...j-truck? Widetrack and narrowtrack rigs have different lift needs for tire sizes.

You're gonna need more than 2.5" of lift to clear 33's on a GW without cutting or a body lift.

i had that exact thing, but it was on a widetrack so it doesn't really apply to a wag....

I know the 4in lift with 31s on MattMopar440's Grand Wagoneer does rub a little...33s on only 2.5in of lift is going to rub like mad, maybe even just driving down the road hitting bumps.

Is that 31's offroad? Because I was thinking a 2" lift with 31's for road use only and light off road(unpaved fishing roads)

Well, I am stock height and 30" BFGs...no rubbing even on rough road.
I guess I figured that I would increase the Jeep height by 2.5" and the tire diameter by only 1.5"... However, did not think about wheel openings etc...
