Oil Pressure Help

So my oil pressure has been acting a little funny. When warmed up it is below the 20 line. At highway speeds it sits around 60 but i noticed yesterday that when i give it gas at highway speeds the pressure drops below the midway line. Any thoughts?

Check the level? Smell the dipstick?

Which gauge, the factory one? If so, likely an electrical problem, typically the connection or the sender.

Low hot idle pressure is a separate issue, but you need an accurate measurement first.

you might wanna pick up a new mechanical oil press guage just to know for sure what you're workin with. what weight oil are you running? mine runs around 60 on highways, drops to 20ish at idle when fully warm...a little lower on the really hot days here (100 degress). i need to change my oil, i think i may run something a little thicker for the warm weather.
