Bought a used tailgate (power) to replace the rusted out one on the Jeep. I also have a manual window regulator to convert it over. Since the gate is out of the truck, how do I get the window up so that I can remove the power guts?

Without a battery available, readily, I just hooked up my battery charger to the terminals with some little alligator clips.... zip zip!
Swap terminals to lower it.

Be careful when running motor with alligator clips. I **** near took a few fingers off last week doing the same thing. (I was trying to bump motor to get everything to line up and had hand up at mtr connector.
