Longer lug studs?

Wondering if anyone here has had problems running after market aluminum rims with the factory lug studs. They seem very short once the wheel is mounted and not much thread for the nut to grab onto.

Yep I got the same problem. I am looking for longer studs now to do my disc conversion cause the stock style studs just arent long enough to use with my aluminum rims. To make it worse I need the type with the step for the rotor which mounts behind the hub.

Dharmabum- I went to Oreally's tonight and looked thru their bins of lug studs and found one that was longer but the splined part was just a hair thicker than the stock ones, might be able to pull it in with impact. I do remember seeing some with steps I think.
