My wife and I did a day trip to the Bradshaw Mountains. It's one of our favorite places in Arizona. Kind of our little secret. It's a 3 day weekend and we only saw a couple guys on quads. It's only 2 hours from Phoenix. Had a fun time till I got the carnage you see in the last picture.

Got hung up on a log. When it rolled it caught my grill and a little bit of my door. I call it a log. My wife calls it a "I can't believe you didn't see that TREE!"

It was a last minute decision to go. We do that sometimes. You guys live up there. Go get them tires dirty.

I'd definetly be down for some type of run now that I have a running rig. I'm not sure if I could do smiley rock yet as I don't have a lift on her yet but it looks like Nathan made it pretty good. Jaber and I were talking last weekend and he wants to do another run as soon as he gets his sons xj up and running. Theres a place in the Flag area called the cinders that I'm curious about but thats probably a bit far for those who live down south a ways. But I'm game for almost anything and I'm sure those of you in the valley would'nt mind getting away from the triple digit heat. :D So if anyone has any suggestions I've got the next couple weekends off.

I'm booked until late July.

Get her lifted and that would open up a lot of options up around you. CK, Desoto Mine, Sedona, etc.

Pretty much the same here, maybe a local run or two pre-Ouray.
After Ouray I'll probably wheel in NM since I have not been to my place there since March.

Yep....The only one to get hung up....The only one to run out of gas (lolz)...and now my rig marks its spot (leaks) with most of its tranny fluid within a couple days (trans converter seal) but No Worries.

No, I did do fine considering the rig and the terrain. It was a blast and I probably wouldn't have been hung up if I just had 30's or 31's and my stock wag sag.

I haven't been on much since I started work, re-adjusting to getting up at 4:45-5:00am has been harder than I thought in my old age :D (I'm 30 lol)

I hope everyone from the run is well and I look foreward to the next one. Let me know...if I haven't fixed the converter seal by then, I'll buy a case of tranny juice and go anyways ;)

I was more than impressed what you were able to do in a bone stock 40 yr old fullsize grocery getter.:fsj:

Nathan,
We talked about this at camp, I did the hanger replacement and added the longer springs. Works fine and have been back on the road since Monday afternoon.

Nathan was talking about knowing a bunch of trails out by his place, maybe we could do something over the weekend of the 4th? I will more then likely have 4 days to play.

What say yee????
Nothing major, just a dirt road to follow, maybe a mine to stop at and explore...

Were you off of the Senator Highway? It looks like a nice place to explore?
