I know that larger tires get worse gas mileage but, with a 360 and 4" lift, what would the respective gas mileage for 31's, 33's, and 35's be?

Bad, really bad and pay a fuel tanker to follow you around.
Depends. How wide are they? What air pressure you running? What kind of tread? How stiff are the sidewalls? What gears are you running with each?
When geared to compensate for the size difference, they will be within about 10% of each other more or less with the larger tire being lower mileage.

I get 11.4 to 14.5 plus MPG with 33" and 3.73 manual trans.
Depends on tune, wind, hills, flatland and load.

With my 31's i got about 10mpg highway and city, but with my 33's I get 8mpg city and 12ish highway due to more mass to get moving but lower rpms on the highway.

I cant speak for 33s and 35s but with my 31s I get about 10 in the city and 15 on the highway. The reason theres a 5 mpg gap is because I like the gas pedal a little too much from stoplight to stoplight;)

I got 11mpg with my average speed being 55mph on my way to a trail last year on 35s and 3.73 gears and an auto.

I just don't understand why people that own 34 yr. old vehicles are so concerned with gas mileage:confused:. If it doesn't leave a trail of smoke and passes emissions, it gets what it gets. My truck gets 11 MPG. Towing a trailer, up hills, down hills, coasting in neutral, off roading, it gets 11MPG.;) I can go 300+ miles on a full (34 gal.) tank. If I am concerned about gas mileage, I drive the Samurai:eek:

Because I like the vehicle but I have to compensate on some aspects to save gas and in turn save money...

Do you have a WT and does it need a lift for those tires to clear OK?

Shoot. My buddies fairly new Expedition only gets around 12mpg, and it isn't half as cool as the most beater FSJ. If your worried about gas mileage, buy a Honda to DD.:D
