To those with snow plows..

I'm considering turning the GW I just picked up into a plow vehicle. What have you guys done to beef up before running a plow? Also, what parts were the first to "go" while being under the stress of plowing?

I have a 76 J10 and a 77 wide track, both were plow trucks their whole lives although I never drove them. I did not see any stress related damage to either of the frames. The frame of the GW is of a different material/ thickness than the earlier Jeeps but essentially the same shape. I'm not sure if it will hold up as well or perhaps may be even better.
